The only way that i can see is to run Adobe DNG convert over a huge RAW file collection and to extract color matrix as well using Exiftool for ex. I suspect that color matrix from dcraw.c have been generated like this, or i miss something ?

I have done it this way and I also think the dcraw matrices were generated this way. I have done this already for some Canon cams. You can find them in nice readable xml/rdf format in the camdefinitions folder of my raw converter. Would be cool to agree to a common format.
